Why is our Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) so special? At Costers del Sió, we believe that the answer lies in the care and respect with which we produce it, following the rhythm of nature and prioritizing quality at every step of the process.

We choose the optimal moment

It all starts in our olive trees, where we cultivate the Arbequina variety with great care. This year, we started the harvest at the beginning of October, when the olives are at their optimal ripeness. Picking them greener allows us to obtain an oil with a more intense and fruity flavor.

To the mill... without wasting time!

After being harvested, the olives are quickly brought to the mill. This step is essential to preserve its freshness and avoid oxidation. Our oil is cold pressed, a technique that keeps the organoleptic and nutritional properties intact. Thanks to this, our OOVE preserves all its natural antioxidants, such as vitamin E, oleuropein and oleocanthal, known for their health benefits.

A unique and balanced flavor

The result is our Premium Green Oil 2024, which stands out for its intensity, fruitiness and a perfect balance between pungency and bitterness. It is an ideal oil for salads, toast or to give a special touch to any raw dish. With very little use, it brings great flavor and personality to dishes, making it essential in any kitchen.
