Beginning of the 2017 harvest campaign at Costers del Sió

After a few weeks of heat that have led to a final breakthrough, today, 09/08/2017, we have begun to harvest in our vineyards at Pla del Lladoner where the grapes matured first.

 

The first grape to harvest is from the white variety, Chardonnay.
The vintage is made by hand in boxes and then refrigerated until prepared. The health status is extraordinary, very good quality, although the estimate of the vintage is lower than last year .
Next week we will continue with the vintage of the Pinot Noir variety for the elaboration of the base wine for our sparkling Siós.
