MUNDUS VINI celebrates this year its 34th edition of the Grand International Wine Award in which the quality of the wines is recognized.

The six-day tasting in the traditional Saalbau town hall on Neustadt/Weinstrasse, Germany, was attended by more than 250 wine experts from 55 different countries to the heart of the Pfalz wine region, which is the second largest in the world. world. The jury is made up of international wine specialists, recognized high-level experts from the fields of distribution, hospitality and wine production, as well as industry media. Wines from 45 different countries were submitted to the competition.
The objective of the competition is to promote quality and promote the marketing of the wines presented in the competition. Likewise, it is designed to offer a forum to producers, winegrowers, importers and consumers that, on the one hand, allows comparison of different wines to facilitate orientation and purchasing decisions and, on the other hand, reach a wide audience.
What for wine consumers means valuable guidance, means for us producers the recognition of our work and effort.
The same quality standards can be measured within the framework of this international competition and the awards obtained allow the wines awarded with this prestigious distinction to be identified for marketing. Since 2014, Mundus Vini has been held twice a year: On the occasion of the autumn fairs and at the end of the annual trading season as a summer tasting and sufficiently in advance of the ProWein date as a spring tasting in February.
