At Costers del Sió, we dedicate ourselves each year to crafting authentic wines that express the essence of our terroir. Today, we’re excited to introduce Siós Nature 2024 a wine that captures the purest spirit of Syrah and continues to surprise and inspire us vintage after vintage.
A Wine Born in Hort del Marcial
Siós Nature is crafted from grapes grown on a small, organically farmed 2.1-hectare plot named Hort del Marcial, located on our estate. From one of our most iconic Syrah vineyards comes this natural wine—made without added sulfites and with a philosophy of minimal intervention.
The Winemaking Process: Guided by Respect and Authenticity
To preserve the full expression of the fruit, the grapes are hand-harvested in 15 kg boxes, allowing for meticulous selection of only the best bunches. Fermentation takes place in open French oak barrels, with gentle pigeage over ten days to extract the grape’s full character. The result is a wine of depth, structure, and unmistakable personality.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Brilliant and clean, with a deep red hue and violet highlights.
Aroma: An expressive nose bursting with notes of red and black fruits—blackberries, cherries, and plums—accompanied by spicy hints of pepper and clove. A subtle mineral background adds complexity, while the oak is elegant and well-integrated.
Palate: Full-bodied, vibrant, and refined. The fruit and spice return on the palate, balanced by a lively acidity that gives the wine great length and persistence.

The 2024 vintage has been truly exceptional. We have produced just 9,975 bottles, each one a testament to our commitment to the land and our respect for nature.
